So you are saying the an 87 is not identical to a 95, but, but, they are both 9000s so they must be the same? lol
On the older 900/9000 model, the clutch feed is at the bottom of the brake master reservoir so it is pretty much impossible or really difficult to run out of fluid but most newer Saabs (since ABS), they have created a second compartment inside the brake master reservoir which feeds the clutch circuit and you really need to bring the level up high to make the fluid pour over into that compartment.
I'm glad you got it working again.
