Today I crawled under the car and checked, the waste gate rod is in place; I then removed the W hose from BPC and took a ride, still the same.
Here are some observations:
1. At idle, the boost needle stays close to the left end of the green area, does this mean the vacuum is good?
2. Give slight gas, the needle moves to the middle of the boost gague, between yellow and green
3. If I floor the gas pedal and make the engine work really hard, the needle of boost gauge will go to close to the right end of yellow part (I think it goes past the middle point of yellow part, does this mean I have more than base boost)?
So I have boost, but only when the car is really pushed, could this be caused by a not so freely spinning turbo, or leak in vacuum system?
