I have a 1991 9000 (turbo) with 95,000 miles, and now that the temperature has dropped, I would really like to be able to defrost the windshield, and get some heat in the cabin. I have checked the servo that controls the flap accessed through the cowl panel, and have also pulled the glovebox to confirm that the cable is attached on the inside. It appears to function properly. I can hear the blower motor run when the heat is turned to max, but the air is not coming out anywhere. When turned to cold, I get cold air out of the vents, but when turned back to heat, nothing. It's as if there is a diverter which is supposed to send the air through the heater core which is not opening. Can anyone help? In the meantime, I'm driving my dad's '92 900 convertible. A nice ride, but not really the car to be driving in Michigan winters. THanks.
