Hi Ari,
First off, sorry for intruding with my heating problem but I'm experiencing the same thing!
My diagnostic results are the following:
Air moves as it should through the vents, the arm moves as it should(How do the two flaps that are moved by the arm work, It seems that they work together?, could the little plastic rod that connects the two flaps has disconnected some how?,Is it possible to confirm that they are still connected by simply observing the rotations of the tiny shafts that they pivot on that protrud on the left and right side of the air box), the recirculation flap moves as it should, The other stepper motors under the dash move the flap that it is connected to as it should? When cheking the heater core hoses they are both hot so I don't think the core is having an issue.
Also, after the engine is warm and I set the ACC to 82 degrees or hi I'm able to get luke warm air However, the warmth of the air is relative to outside temperature meaning that when the outside air is warm I get better heat but when it's very cold outside the air comimg from the vents is barely warm.
TIA,
Fernando
