What is the temperature gauge showing? During your trip, does it get up off the lower peg?

Depending on the trip, 10 minutes isn't going to get the car very warm. Yes, you'll feel heat, but not the full heat the system can provide.

If the needle barely gets above the peg and it has only been 10 minutes of mild driving, you probably are seeing a car not fully warmed up. If after 10 minutes of driving you can't get the needle up to about 8:00 on the dial, then your thermostat might be stuck open. Thermostats are moving parts and they do wear out. It should be replaced with every coolant flush. If it was, was it a Saab OEM thermostat? I've had problems with aftermarket thermostats. Also, the 9000 cooling system is self-bleeding - but to do that, you need (1) a thermostat with a bleed hole (see Saab OEM), and (2) the thermostat has to be installed with the bleed hole at the top. If the system doesn't bleed, air gets trapped in the highest part of the system - the heater core. And you get poor heat.

To check the heating system, drive the car around for a bit to get it warm. If the needle doesn't go above around 7:30 or 8:00, the thermostat is stuck open (or missing). If it does warm up, set the ACC to HI. It should blow hot air. If it doesn't, you might have air in the cooling system, have a clogged heater core, or the heater flap isn't moving properly.

If you do get lots of nice hot air with the car warm and the ACC on HI, then it is the ACC system. You replaced the little sensor in the dash - the one with the bulls-eye grill, yes? Did you get new or used? Do you know it is working? Pop the little grill off, and peek in with a flashlight. There is a little squirrel-cage fan behind the sensor that spins when the car is on, and for about 5 minutes after the car is shut off. If that fan isn't spinning, the heat will be erratic, and usually absent.
