You could buy a Zip Boot thats split so you don't have to remove the axle. Just jack-up the car and set on jack stands. Remove wheel and cut the old bot off. Clean C/V joint with spay cleaner and a container to drip into. Pack moly grease into the clean C/V joint and attach the new split boot. I think their $25 - $30. Never tried them but, if your going to remove the axle(s), do all the boots. With one a split boot will cost the least.
