Hi. I took a few minutes to cruise the web and look more closely at the TCS module on your throttle body, and appreciate the spot your in. The positives are that the electronic controls on your throttle body survived 17 years, pretty damn good for anything with a Bosch label. I now understand the moaning of 9K owners with TCS cars, you have a Swedish version of the eighties' Honda quaalude $800 cvcc carburetor. The LH throttle switch I am talking about is an $80 part on 9000s without TCS. Sadly it has been integrated into one assembly, and is not available independently.
If I am in your spot, I see two possibilities...
(1)try to find a low mileage TCS car near 100K miles and hope the electronic module is not wornout. You can replace a throttle body yourself with a little guidance from your friends on this board.
(2) talk to an independent Saab mechanic who has converted TCS cars to non-TCS throttle bodies...you'll have to change the ECU and wiring...a little more challenging. Perhaps the 9000 owners w TCS cars on this board can help you find this knowledgeable indie.
Best wishes for a good outcome.
