I have two throttle bodies and could loan you one, but really didn't think that was the issue.
If the car runs ok, if the mileage hasn't gone down dramatically, then the Catalytic converter is suspect. If the mileage has gone down and you are possibility getting poor performance too, the the O2 sensor is suspect. In Orange county California I just got a Magna Flow Cat welded in for $225 plus tax. you can purchase that one on line for about $160-185. The O2 sensor can be sourced as the Mustang unit and then spliced into the wiring harness in the car, makes it easier in that you don't have to take the wire from around and under the AC compressor out and route the new one. Rough cost is $50 (do a search on line in the c900 and 9000 sections). I would consider talking to another smog shop as yours doesn't seem to be helping you with these two items. Ask them if the timing on the car can be adjusted.... If they say yes or not sure... time to leave. they don't understand your Saab. My 1992 9000CDT Auto, with 307K miles on it, just passed smog again. You can send an email to me if you want more information.
