As a reference point I've been reusing Axle nuts on my cars for 40 years, some even being reused several times. Despite stern admonishments to the contrary. With NO ill effects to date :-)
Ermm.. Reuse the OEM Strut nut, add a drop of loctite blue if concerned
OR buy a cheap deep socket to fit the new nut and the strut bearing then weld an arm onto it, turning it into a wrench yet leaving the socket drive hole in the end open for the hex wrench
