This is an inexpensive upgrade which I can now seriously recommend.
The whole kit cost under $35 and if I had smaller/nimbler hands it would have taken under 5 minutes to install and with zero tools.
(The ballasts even sat nicely and needed no screwing in.)
The result ?
Not lights...but LIGHTS!!!
Road lines JUMP OUT at me now - signs light up from FAR away and can I ever see better too.
Wow.
I got the 6000k ('diamond white') so they just look like very bright halogens instead of those attention-getting bluish things.
If I'd tried Bi-Xenons instead of the several different insipid 9004 halogens I tried out in my '91 I could have had REAL lights instead of feeling like I was using 2 weak flashlights when night driving.
Oh well - live and learn.
Anyone interested in where/how I got my upgrade is welcome to email me for the details.
Best Wishes.
