And I did something that I would not have dared to do before:
Drove my car in full sun on a day that was 85F.
Another 'WOW!' experience.
Driving off the outlet temp was 112 - minutes later, down to 70 - then it settled into the 50F range quite nicely.
Used to be I'd have to keep the ACC set to 'low' and not only was the A/C insipid & ineffective - but it'd cut out frequently and the load on the engine was dramatic.
As described above, and on hills with traffic lights and all the things which used to have the A/C cutting out...no problems; but most amazing of all to me was having to set the ACC higher because it got cool enough in the cabin for me...that's a HUGE wow !!!
So I guess after 3 weeks with Duracool - and it's not having leaked out as the 134a always did, combined with GREAT cooling-> I'm a convert.
This stuff not only does what it claims, but made the 134a pinholes go away with it's sealer and is the best/easiest A/C fix imaginable in my opinion.
I'll only post back if it disappoints - which I very much doubt will happen !
Best Wishes.
