best system for your application. Focal tends to be a good as it is expensive, but a three way system is meant to sound great with the speakers relatively on the same plane and same distance from the listener. The 4 inch midrange probaly only plays down to about 800hz (this is typical for a three way). This means that a significant amount of the sound is going to play only from the back. Ideally you want the front end to play at least down to 100 hz otherwise your bass/midbass will seem to come from the back.
You may want to
A. Get a pair of Oz Audio 4" components for the front (http://www.ozaudio.com I think) use a pair of bass blockers to protect these from deep bass when you crank it. $180
And
B. Get a pair of 6.5 midbasses for the back from http://www.madisound.com and cut of there high frequencies with an inductor. $60
Or
C. Use the focal system but modify the front door to hold a 6.5"
I had a similar set up in my old spg with three way up front (tweets and midranges in kickpanels) and a 12 in the back and it absolutley kicked ass.
Also only having a woofer in the back that plays up to about 3000hz will give the back passengers good sound without violating the front imaging.
Once you get me started,
Chad
