Here are my experiences of some of the tires you mention:
Michelin MXV4 Energy: nice ride, great wear, poor grip (even in dry) - I had them on a Volvo 940 Turbo, and also on a naturally aspirated Volvo S70 - I'd never buy them again, especially at the price.
Goodyear Eagle GT4's I had on a Ford Probe, good grip, ride, relatively short life - I liked them, but on a much lighter car than a SAAB. Again, at the price I would not buy them again.
I would never buy anything Firestone (they came with the Ford...)
I've had Dunlop D60's on the 940 T and on a Porsche 911 - they have put me off Dunlop for life... though I've heard a lot of good stuff about the SP range, though people seem to think they do better on lighter cars...
Bridgestone has just introduced a new Potenza 950 which has to be an improvement over the 930 and 730...
Kuhmos I know very little, other than the price is great!
FYI I just bought Yokohama AVS dB's which have yet to be fitted, but I've heard great things about them... I know they ride very quite and stick well, though they will not last 60,000 miles, which is a price I am willing to pay....
Check out http://www.tirerack.com They have a very good site, with lots of customer feedback, the lowest prices anywhere, and they have approved installers in most areas...
