I have an Alpine tape deck with a six disc CD changer that will fit right in the glove box. I'm thinking of getting an equalizer as well, which really does make a huge difference. If you put aftermarket speakers (4") in the front with a somewhat powerful head unit (say 35 x 4), i'd recommend Bass Blockers to keep them from distorting. they only cost about $10 and they are well worth it. in my experience, and that of every last person i know who knows a tenth about car audio, Sony has the most worthless pieces of sh!t CD players on the market. a Walmart special for $35 will skip less than one of theirs. to this day i don't understand this, they invented the things. you could practically buy a new CD and the damn thing would skip. i truly recommend almost anything other than a Sony.

- Actually, Sonys are quite reliable, comparable to Alpine, etc., Aaron Gilbert, Mon, 4 Jun 2001 22:48:03
