There is not MAP sensor in an '88T. The LH2.4 in the 88T (I'm assuming a US market car here) uses an AMM -Air Mass Meter - to determine airflow into the intake manifold, and uses the O2 sensor to fine tune the fuel delivery.
Replacing the AMM is easy - it's just sitting in the intake line. Just unplug the electrical connector, undo the two clamps on either side, and pull it out. Just don't loose the little rubber O-ring. Always replace with the same part number - in the case of an 88T, a -005.
The only electronic measure of manifold pressure is the overpressure fuel-cutoff switch, that cuts off fuel flow if you overboost.
