The voltage output is 2.1 at ambient( this corrsponds to a resistance value of 8-14 ohms with connector disconnected) with switch on and rises to 5 volts at 1.25 bar boost or runs just about 2.75-2.8 volts at base boost(.35 bar). Cut off for your car is at 3.3-3.5 volts acording to my extrapolation. If you aren't getting smooth response when checking pressure and voltage, this can cause clicks in the system. This is the device which helps the controller modulate the turbo wastegate via the solenoid and also protects from overboost set in the controller. You don't want to go changing the solenoid because it is clicking because, as others have said, something is driving it crazy. The knock sensor is a device that is sensitive to torque. Tightening it down too tight can also cause you BIG problems because it increases the sensitivity and then it may also hear the injector clatter, timing chain rumble or heaven forbid, a rod knock when running. If the engine is silent then I'd look at the transducer. Also since the knock sensor is an ac device, the shielding is sensitive to spark noise if not grounded properly and 3-IM gets into the act(EMI).
The knock detector torque: for the silver bolt(13 mm) is only 9-10 ft Lbs. for the blue bolt(12 mm) 5-6 ft lbs. Re-torquing the KS may be in order -won't hurt any. Take a probe check of the cable to ground you should have good continuity.
