Ahhhh, my custom sound system has finally been installed.

It consists of:

10" Rockford Fosgate Amp, with a single ported bandpass box
400W Infinity Kappa 255a Amplifer, It's a 5 channel, 200 to the sub, and 50 to each speaker.
6 x 9 Pioneer 4-way speakers, i forget the model number, its 6969 something, its the older one so you won't find it in crutchfield. It get's amazing sound.
A pair of 4" Infinity Reference 452i, great highs, but not big enough to produce good bass in the front.
And the head unit, a Blaupunkt San Francisco with a thummer remote on the steering wheel (Very convenient).

Now onto the problems...

The guys, when installing my system, forgot to hook up the backlighting on my headlight switch, notihng major, just wish the whole car was in tact.

The San Francisco has an excellent feature, it has a microphone that reads the vehicle's interior dimensions, and takes that info and sets a 7-band equalizer accordingly. But, the guy had no idea how to hook it in, so, i'm stuck with the main feature absent.

And, overall, the 1500 dollar system, sounds like complete crap. It has so much that needs to be tuned it will take me weeks to get it all right. But maybe if the mike was in it would help. Im getting no bass response from the sub, and the front speakers are giving me filthy bass. It's actually embarassing. But little by little I keep pulling into restaurant parking lots when driving around and tune my amp to give just the right power.

Hahaha, and here's a little funny thing. The two guys (one moonlights as a stripper), decided to take my car out for a joyride. I guess they wanted to see what an aero could do, but, who could blame them? I saw this after seeing the gas milage I was getting when i left the place, which was 17.6 MPG, and when I arrived I was getting 18.8 MPG. Also, the trip odometer read 61 miles, and when I got it back it read I think 63 or 64.

I still have alot of work to do on it, like the addition of an IDC-A09 5 disc in-dash CD changer, and maybe i'll change my trunk light bulb to a green bulb to accent the green lights on the amp.
The blue back lighting on the head unit is beautiful, and it also came with it's own handheld remote, so now my friend doesn't have to move an inch to change the station (lazy bastard).
Plus, i need to move my lighter socket and install some taurus cupholders. Should be one hell of an interior when I'm done.
