I don't have a light above my headlight switch, but there is a light on the switch itself, little green jobbie. But, mine hasn't ever worked, and I never went to the trouble of getting a replacement. Yours was actually working before, and now it isn't? Odd coincidence if so..

Glad you're getting the microphone worked out. I've emailed Blaupunkt a few times myself, and they have been prompt and helpful.

As for the radio rececption, I'd say you may be right and they didn't hook the antenna up correctly. My Blaupunkt is much better than the stock Clarion was, at least on FM, and your San Francisco is FAR better than my Blaupunkt due to the Digiceiver - almost unbelieveable sensitivity and just about all other specs.. definitely check that out. There also should be NO hiss (or so little that you just can barely hear it with the engine off) when on mute, similarly low hiss when off mute but with the volume all the way down. How's the gain on your amps? All the way up? Try to keep the gain as low as possible to minimize noise in the system..

I don't have a TA button on my radio, so can't help you there. The Blaupunkt manuals seem pretty complete though. You do have all that, right? If not you can download them from Blaupunkt's web site in PDF format.

Good luck! By all rights your system should sound much better than mine at least as far as the electronics are concerned if not the speakers, hope you get it all worked out!
