It was the fronts. One bolt on each strut.
However, being only a mild glutton for punishment, and eager to get my shocks on, I simply took them off complete with hubs. Since the Konis are an insert, there is no overriding need to separate the strut from the hub. Manipulating the whole assembly together is a bit more cumbersome, but quite manageable.
The whole job took about 8 hours. I expect Abbott would do it in significantly less. However, £100 sems a good deal. I just enjoy getting to know my car...
Following your warning about the rear mounting bolts, I had checked they weren't siezed before I decided I was going to order the kit and fit it myself.
Must get round to posting the procedure & photos (and those for a few other jobs as well).
