The noise I hear appears to be exhaust related. It is a stock exhaust. It sounds as if there is a leak up by the engine somewhere, but neither I or the exhaust shop I sent it to could find a leak. It's not too bad a low speeds/rpm, but on the highway, I have to put ear buds in to enjoy the drive. I am not looking for the sound level of a new Lexus, but it didn't used to be as loud as it is now. I have NO experience working with exhausts so I am at a loss as to what to do next. Could something make the engine itself run louder than usual? The loudness is coming from the engine/under the hood area. Any tips is greatly appreciated.
