If the batteries in the remote dies while the alarm is armed, you should be fine, just pop the new batteries in and press the lock/unlock button something like 5 times and then it will be back to normal. If I were you I would immediatly go on ebay and buy a remote from there (or anywhere, just find one and buy it), take it to your dealer and have it programmed! Like I said before, big costs if you get caught with the remote destroyed with the car locked and no other programmed remote. I just am finally getting a second (and third) remote programmed, one came with the car and never worked, and the other I bought from ebay.
