vibration onder load and braking

Hello everybody,
My '95 900SET is suffering from slight vibration under load at 100 to 140 km/h. But on top of that, my steer and pedals are shaking massivly under braking in the same speed range, accompanied by a scraping noise typical for worn brakepads. This occurs only after a few seconds while braking, and lasts until i'm almost at a stop. When I start braking under this speed range, this effect doesn't occur.
Thinking this had to do with heat building up in the brakes and being concerned by this braking vibration i decided to to a comprehensive brake job and renewed the worn discs and pads all around. Changed the brake fluid and now i have a firm feel in the pedal and much better brake performance. The trouble is, the vibration and noise are still there!
I am known to vibration under load due to weel balancing problems. I've even changed the inner drivers on my '86 900T but i've never had the symptom that the vibration onder braking is actually much worse than under load.
Should I check anything else, or is this still typical for inner driver wear?
Herbert
