Yes you can. My son and I took the Saab and my Integra GS-R up there on 4 July to run a few laps. Check out this site for the actual times: http://www.nuerburgring.de/eng/frame_04.htm
It costs DM22 per lap, but the 5 lap ticket is a good deal for around DM 80. It's a good chance to see what your car can do. The Saab was ok on the straights, but it was no joy in the corners. My Integra could carry more speed in the corners, but lacked the Saab's power and torque coming out. The lighter, lower, Integra handled the left/right transitions much better, and really did well as long as the RPM was kept up where the VTEC motor does its thing. The north loop was full of Porsche 911 GT-3s and several BMW M3s, so my Saab was the slow traffic out there. Of course there was a large group of sport motorcycles present, which is not unusual. It is a good chance to find what your car can do as long as you keep it in the physical limits the car can handle. There were several places where skid marks were present that led to new pieces of guardrail. A word of advice is to have someone with a map calling the turns like a rally navigator would until you learn the course. That worked very well for my son and I. I hope to do it again.
