Well I have had my new 2002 9-3 convertible for almost a month now. I bought it on one of those balloon note deals they do here in Texas. It is like a lease. I can drive up to 15,000 miles a year. I got this car to have fun with, and to give my Mercedes 560 SEL some needed rest. The Benz is in perfect shape, but the maintance was getting expensive so I opted for the Saab for daily commute duties, saving the Benz for weekend family outings. Now the problem. I have become addicted to the Saab! I am having more fun driving than ever. I am driving it too much. I look for reasons to take it out for a spin. I am trying to be good and budget my miles, so this week I am driving the Benz to work. Now this Benz is plush. It runs perfect, has plenty of power, has a custom all Alpine stereo with custom sub, MB Quart speakers, etc. Plenty of room and real quiet. But now it feels like a dinosaur! How does Saab do it? I just can't wait to take the Saab out for a long drive in the country this weekend. Hopefully with the top down. Rain is in the dam forcast! Cool cars! Saabs are special. I have spent a bunch of time in Bimmers too. Only a Porche has this kind of fun factor. I am glad I bought this ride! Ken
