Another thing that sold me on the Saab convertible was the excellent visibility with the top up. Most cars use that plastic rear window that distorts and turns opaque. I noticed even the BMW 3 series convt. uses plastic for a rear window. I thought and still do think the Saab excells at visibility even with the top up. And the heated rear glass was another big factor. I think poor visibility leads to accidents. I would never have bought the car if I did not think that Saab got this right. I wish the rear window was a bit larger, but it seems big enough.
