Porsche ended a linage. They said it was to keep the company going, building their two car models off of one platform. Brain, your right, the 996 just doesn't fit. I my opinion, the interior sucks too. They past on the signature easy to ready gauges to a digi-log nested circle anomoly.
I, too, am curious what will happen to the venerable 911, especially with the 944 spin-off promised to come from the Cayenne.
