Alignment and tire wear//HELP

Have a 2002 9/3 SE, and my Pirelli 6000SV are becoming noisy. They "feel" slightly cupped. I have kept them rotated @ 5,000 mi intervals, and rebalanced last July. Pressures typically are 35 psi-36 psi range and checked 2x month.
SAAB dealer says bad tires, alignment is fine. (Of course the tires are NOT inclusive in the first yr/15,000 SAAB warranty, or any part of SAAB warranty for that matter).
Tire store says "wear" problem, no obvious "defects". "Check the alignment and rotate your tires more often". Says the chances of my winning the lotto are better than getting a warranty replacement from Pirelli.
The tire rotation pattern I followed : F to R, R to F with these is just not succcessful. The tire store has recommended F to R, and LR to RF/RR to LF. It's a very very good tire/wheel shop, high quality--I ve known them for 15 yrs or more.
Where should I begin ? What's your take on this ?
Thanks.
