Based on the Honda web site the Accord EX V6 is $25,800 (+460 destination). This comes with leather, moonroof, and an auto transmission. Doesn’t the 9-3 start at 25,900 (w/o roof and automatic)? Of course this doesn’t take in to effect the various Saab rebates, but that’s another issue.
The thing to keep in mind is that, I believe, for the most part Honda and Saab are after different customers. Typically, Honda competes with Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda for buyers, where Saab competes with BMW, Audi, Infiniti, etc. The Accord and the 9-3 are two different cars for two different customers.
