One note about ergonomics though...

Okay, not trying to be a party pooper, and make no mistake whatsoever, I definitely love my 99 9-3SE. It's a blast to drive, and as someone mentioned in this thread, it reminds me that I used to have a real passion for cars (i.e., my old 74 MGB-GT) that was extinguished for the past 15 years by my Ford SUV.
That said, I do have to say that some of the ergonomics of my 9-3 leave me completely puzzled. Here are my humble gripes:
- I'm 5' 10" so I'm not of an unusual size, and from my normal seated position I can not even see either of the fog light buttons. They're blocked from view completely by the steering wheel.
- Trying to access the power window buttons requires a contortionist move that is awkward and uncomfortable. Completely unnatural arm position...let alone if the fold-down armrest is in the 'down' position.
- Front windshield wiper intermittent control on the stalk is so close to the steering wheel I feel ilke I need small hands to squeeze in there and adjust it.
- Okay, not exactly ergonomics, but for a company so concerned about safety I have to say the blind spots in my 5-door hatchback are definitely not good.
