I saw that one on ebay. I can attest that one baby seat fits fine. I actually have a blue and black matching on for my 99. The mileage is high, but its a Saab. For $12K with the extra goodies its a decent deal. Sounds like a good story behind the car, but this is Florida we are talking about. Buyer always beware. My last trip to Florida to buy a Viggen sent me home driving a rental car.
It does seem odd that they rebuilt the engine on a 85K HIGHWAY mile car. I assume the shop that worked on the car was Saab dealer or Indy? I also thought it was odd that the car on ebay was missing the tow hook cover on the front bumper (see mine below - there is a cover for the tow). Its also missing the center Saab logo on the front rim which is odd. Also the front drivers bumper doesn't align 100% with the wheel well which is odd. The wheel well liner cover might just have busted -- no biggie, but between that and the missing center Saab cap on the wheel might raise an eyebrow if that got hit on the right front (maybe some engine work too). Compare the front bumper pic to mine (link below).
Ebay is always a risk, but there can be some good deals out there. I am not trying to scare you, but you have to be careful. I am kinda of surprised the owner did not frequent this board given the goodies he added or maybe he has?
At any rate check it out and don't be afraid to walk from the deal. I have done it, even when I have flown 700 miles to do so.
If everything looks kosher you will have a fun ride home;) The Viggen is more fun than the aero from a feel for the road standpoint. Viggen needs to be tamed whereas the aero is much more relaxed -- both equally as powerful and capable.
