Expect no change in under/oversteer from rack clamp...

Maybe we think of "plowing" differently. The phenomenon I was attempting to describe is classic understeer, which I hope to help balance with the larger rear swaybar (tends to induce more oversteer). I too would rather have an understeering car at the limit than an oversteering one, but I view a move toward neutral (not past it) as an improvement. Also I hope to achieve a reduction in body roll, which I find quite significant in my 9-3, esp. compared to my C900 sedan.
The clamp made no difference in my opinion with respect to under/oversteer. It simply made the overall steering feel tighter and more communicative (still haven't really pushed the torque steer/TCS issue). So there's no reason to avoid/promote it based on chassis dynamics as far as I'm concerned.
Cheers,
