NYSaaber, our situation is different than John00's. We have T5's. I just replaced mine @91k, but my other one was starting to go out on me. I hear that the T7s do not give warning signs like the T5s. Within a period of 4 days I died on startup 3 times(my first startup of the day) It would start the second time, but I had also started up and idled around 600 rpms for a few seconds(gives your 9-3 a good shake) many times. I look at it as if my current DI dies, I have a spare that will work for at least a little bit, but enough to get me home to order a new one. Also, a thing to look out for is the torx holing the DI on can be tightened too much for the Saab tool to work. I had to buy a ratchet torx head. They are sold at Autozone and Sears that I know of.
