Answers:
1) Yes, AFAIK, lights up then goes out when starting the car.
2) No. I'll consult the Haynes book tonite tho, thanks.
3) Unknown (presume at least every 10k) till purchased about 2 years ago at 53k, then M1 10W30 or (recently) 0W40 every 5k. I did a UOA on the 10W30 at about 64k miles (5500 on the oil) and it looked good. Head gasket replaced yesterday and refilled with Saab 5W30 semi-synth oil.
