I have a 1999 9-3 SE with 40K on it, I've had it for abobut 3 months.
I just noitced on one of the boards something about oil sludge? Where should i look for this and What should this look like?
I had a dealer done 30k performed at 33k checkup when i got it, and they put me on Syn (cost $$) i switched to Semi-Syn when i got my oil changed, this ok?
The mechanic at the dealer also pointed out that i "watch out" for certain things.
1) The small pully on the timing belt ( that is how he termed it) he said that they fall off and i should get them changed every 40-50k, is this necessary?
2) He also suggested that I Get regular rear-break services (every 20k i assume), is this necessary?
3) I asked about the head bolt re-torque, i saw a little oil leaking, but not too bad, should i get it re-torqued?
I think that is about it for now. Thanks in advance
