Thanks for response.
Is there any "how to" manual to do the break work myself?
The oil leak was near a seam and was near the battery. When the mechanic looked at it at the dealer, he said all cars leak a little, and this one doesn't seem to be bad at all compared to others and just told me to keep an eye on it.
Looks like i'll go back to SYn after i check for sludge, i'll probably have to fish around w/ the wire. But i may retorque the head bolts when i the 40k service.
I typically have done my oil changes w/ past car ever 3 to 5k.
Most of the 7,000 i put on are from long trips. 78-85mph gas mileage 27-29mpg...around town i get btwn 19 and 21mpg w/ avg speeds of 24mph.
I got a carfax report on my car and it turns out the previous owner drove the car 18k the first year, 6 k the second year and then petered out to btwn 1k-4k per/year till i recieved it. One i got it i replaced CV axle boot, motor mount and waterpump ( which was leaking), did the oil change and have done it one other time since. Additionally the previous owner tended to take the car in to the dealer at regular intervals and has had all recommended services performed.
Also, I have run Techron concentrate through the system once. There have been a couple of other weird little things, but i'm not sure if they are things to worry about.
1) The fan for heat/ac makes a high pitched fan squeal, its annoying when i zone it in
2) If i sit in the car w/ engine off it makes a low humming noise
thanks for info
