There is no timing belt. Most folks replace that pulley at 60K, but some vehciles with lower miles should change before that as years also count. That pulley is easy to check DIY.
The rear pad backing plates can get rust bound in the caliper slots. Clean and grease prevents this. Many DIY all of their brake work.
You saw a small oil leak where? The head gasket seam is down below the exhaust manifold. You need to look there. Leaks typically are near the battery location as that end is where the head bolts are found loose. If you retorque the head bolts, while the valve cover is off, one can easily check for sludge then. Otherwise one can fish for it with a wire though the oil drain plug when changing the oil.
If the engine is sludge free, I would go back to synthetic. Synthetic can loosen sludge if its there aready and with what we know today, one should know before switching. Otherwise a full -real- synthetic will prevent oil sludging. So that is Mobil 1 as all of the other on-the-shelf alternative synthetics are actually group IV dyno oils.
Your oil change interval is determined by how you drive. City?Highway?long trips?shot trips?cold climate etc. Your Saab ha slow miles and perhaps experienced short trips and did not get to and remain at heat very much.
Find out about prior oil history if you can.
Did you put on 7K in 3 months?
