'00 SE convertible value & buying from a dealer

I've never owned a 9-3 and I've never bought from a dealer - I must have gone through 8 Saabs, all private party, 900s and 9000s.
I want to buy a convertible and think this one is a good deal - it's a 2000 ES (205 HP), silver, 45K miles in the Boston area at a Saab dealer (car actually comes in tonight off lease). They'd take $13500 for it firm. There is also a red 99 SE with 59K miles on it that they would sell for $11000 firm. From the research I've done, these seem like decent prices, at least in the northeast. Is this correct? Also, even though the $2500 difference between the two cars is substantial to me, I assume that the 45K silver one with the faster engine is the better deal, correct? Lastly, has anyone had any issues with a Saab dealer not covering something under the 60 day warranty?
