Dean and John,
Temp reading stays constant right in the middle. No overheating. Cap for the reservoir is new, and the gasket seems fine. No visible leaks from the reservoir either.
Rad fan kicks on and off as engine runs, so I think it is running normally. There isn't any visible leakage around the thermostat. All the hoses are (as far as I know) original, except the double hose that runs to the heater core. I replaced that last year when it sprung a leak.
John, I haven't had the heads retorqued. Would I be able to see coolant visibly leaking near the head gasket area?
Classic 900's had bleeder for the cooling system, I think. Does the NG have the same setup?
Oh, and there's no wetness on the floor inside either.
Thanks,
jesse
