yellow goo in oil... coolant? moisture?

1996 900s ~135,000 mi

hi everyone. my boyfriend and i thought my car might have an oil leak so last night, he was checking the oil level and the dipstick came out with this yellow goo on it. a mix of oil and yellow goo. the oil level was actually fine and we didn't find any leaked oil this morning. the coolant level though is a little low (at the "kalt" line when hot) which is worrisome since the level has held steady since i had a coolant leak fixed about two years ago and i had just checked it maybe two weeks ago. the car is driving fine. no CEL, no oil light, temp holding steady as always in the middle of the gauge. my dad owned the car before i did so i know it has had it's oil changed religiously every 3-5,000 miles with 10W30 synthetic blend.

i know there might be moisture since the car is driven relatively short distances during the week, but i searched earlier threads and they mentioned "milkiness" and white foam. but this is definitely yellow.

any thoughts? next steps?
