To paraphrase "Animal House": Remain calm. All is well.
What I've found is that for every problem you might have, someone else has already experienced it, and probably worse or more frequently!
Having owned Saabs for more than 20 years (along with too many other cars), I can tell you that they get under your skin in a weird sort of way. They don't do anything outstandingly well (except for ergonomics, IMO) but they do lots of things pretty well.
Part of it, also, is that up until the 9-3SS, they were really the last unconventional car you could buy. (except, of course, any air-cooled 911...but you knew that!)
Most of the oddness has been beaten out over the years, but there are still a few things just a bit off kilter in the ng900 to remind you that some engineers really do think "outside the box," for better or worse...
