Bushings that are not properly torqued will move. Failed bushings may hammer and create shock loads. An ounce of prevention or not ignoring or being insensitve to a problem might be like the one stitch on time that saves nine.
It is not a common problem that I have seen reported, and the fact that one dealer sees so many is worrying.
