Dean if I was a less than ridiculously sensitive maintenance person I would agree. There were no worn out components and everything was properly torqued. The stanchion arms started to move in their housings. Perhaps I go over railroad tracks too quickly, but there was definate horizontal play in the stanchion bolt location. I suspect they make it a weak point for crash worthyness, but the wear is the unfortunate side-effect. This is something for those like me that have 'tried it all'. The fact that two different techs and the service manager knew of the condtion without even seeing the car leads me to believe it is pretty widespread.I just wonder if somebody has welded a washer in place of the hole or something else crazy to rectify this problem. This explains my crazy alignment.
