front end collision - damages?

I was in a (minor) fender bender today. I was going straight ~35mph and the other car (Ford Windstar) tried to get into a side street on the right hand side(and almost made it.......) I hit her around the rear passenger wheel well area. Nobody was hurt.
I didn't see much damage on the white van (it was pretty dirty and beat up). I saw on my 2002 9-3: Bumper on the left (driver side) pushed in ~1/2 to 1". The side blinker cracked open. That light doesn't work. All the other lights (including fogs) work fine. There is some minor scuff marks on the fender right above the lights. The hood appears raised by almost 1/2"... The right (passenger isde) bumper was noticably forced out, showing a gap I can almost put my hand in. I also see minor scuffing on the bumper. I do not see/feel anything different driving the car.
What I'm really concerned about is the raised hood. The women I hit was a hispanic women who claims to speak no english and had no licence. She lived very near where my apartment complex is and gave me her name/address/phone. She promised to have her son call me to discuss damages. At that time, I didn't see the hood, felt sorry for her, and didn't want to report it to the insurance for my sake either...
Whats the estimate on damage? I think I need a new bumper and very minor buffing on the fender, and a new side light. However, the hood is ?????.
Now that its 6 hours later, I've called the police and they told me its too late to report it. Sort it out with the insurance company... In Michigan, I don't know if my premium will go up even if its not my fault.
