at around 40mph. Damage was buckled hood, lights and rad support. estimate was >$2200. Since my car is 1998, I got a light off ebay, straighten the support with my 3lb. hammer and am still looking for a midnight blue hood.
I'm going cheap with my DIY repairs given that my car is 8> years old. If you choose to go this route, you might want to check out junkyards, sellers parting out their cars, etc, for less expensive replacement parts.
