I wouldn't be driving that. It'd drive me nuts.
If you want to save the dust shield, it will be tricky to press out. I use cinder blocks to elevate and position the plates. The dust shield bolts (3) are likely torx and blocked by the hub -- a challenge to grab at 90 degrees. Using a bearing splitter/puller would be easier, or a slide hammer puller while mounted to the vehicle.
Ultimately pressing in the hub is a done on the press with the shield attached. I remember these shields having a wide gap so they could be installed after the hub is pressed in. I switched to hex head shieid bolts because the original torx were seized and had to be drilled out.
