As far as the hub if it comes out of the bearing too easy replace it. If it appears to have rust on the surface against the bearing replace it. Otherwise it is good to reuse. But yes you could measure it make sure.
As for the abs sensor I believe that you car should be a sensor that bolts into a bracket and a relucter ring on the axle assembly. And I believe that both inner races on the bearing are the same size and you can install it either way.
And yes I always some grease or molykote when installing the bearing. I believe that there was a bulletin for using some grease to stop a clunk noise in the front end during turning on c900's and 9-5's. Good Luck, Bernie
