Hello,
Yes you will probably need to find some steel bars or plates to build up everything enough to hold the knuckle flat and steady while you press the bearing in and out. I am not really sure which combination will work for you. I had a machinist cut a piece of approx 6 inch diameter pipe about 6 inches tall which is close to the Saab special tool to use to hold the steering knuckle in the press. Good Luck, Bernie
