If you never rotated the tires (that really kills the life of the front tires), got even wear across 90% of the tire almost to the wear bars (very important, that means the tires were almost dead anyway) on SP9000 tires (rather high performance tires, i.e. good grip not long life). I would say that is exactly what you should get. You could try using a couple of more pounds of air in the front tires, that might push the wear a little more toward the center of the tread.
Really agressive driving, like on a track or auto-x, wears the outside shoulder due to cornering forces rolling the tire over. I had the same wear pattern when I replaced my summer tires last summer and was very happy that I got the kind of wear as you describe.
