For my mostly hiway miles, I would expect much more than 26000 miles! But if you put in 26000 miles in city conditions, that is a completely different situation.
Were you rotating your tires?
I would get a good alignment done again anyways.
If your suspension is distorting under high acceleration, then perhaps the geometry is the problem under these high load cconditions... where wear occurs! If you are spinning or scrubbing your tires with the throttle, then the geometry could be quite bad at that time and really make the wear uneven. The front will lift a bit at that time. I undertand that you have made serveral changes which should help eliminate front to back rocking.
I think that you need to watch tire pressures as well. Do you add air in the winter? Soft pressure will cause the sidewalls to create higher edge wear. Your tires are, or were, with very stiff sidewalls which makes this very much a concern! Finding a tire guage that is accurate is also not easy.
Wider tires also are more sensitive to the effects of bad or distorting geometry, or tire pressures. If you get high performance tires with more compliant side walls, then you can expect that the tire will accommodate imperfect for distorting geometry without extreme edge wear.
Get new tires and get a tire tread depth gage and keep an eye on things.
If you have not added and Abbott bushing and braces etc, you should consider this. It will greatly complement your other work. Around $825 for the whole kit, plus some serious install and a re-toeing adjustment. And as the suspension is made less rubbery, toe-in should be much on the lower scale of the range, perhaps less.
So what did you set your camber at? I had a problem with a Volvo once and I put used a cutting torch to move the strut tops. I set it as close to zero as I could. I did this in a three piece suit at the dealers shop. They were very impressed and liked the result. Never had uneven wear again. I also set my toe-in to zero to allow for control while driving in freezing rain ice storms.
