Replace the pads yourself if needed. You can go as cheap as you want to. Heck I bought $20 pads at Pep-boy for my old accord before I sold it. They worked fine compared to using the old worn out pads. Again once you have the money to replace the pads just do it yourself or with the money saved doing the repair spend more on pads.
I as well have a leak from my powersteering fluid but I can't find the source so I just refill my fluid and all is well. Been doing this for about one year. One day I'll figure it where it is leaking and replace it but to save $600 I would just refill mine until you get a new job. This also depends on how the bad the leak is.
With the clutch listen to the indy. I had my clutch into the shop last summer and they said I needed a new one based on the "recommend" service intervals. I still have my clutch and a additional 20k miles on it with no problem. If your clutch is stiff you may just want to replace your clutch cable which cost around $100. This is what I did and clutch feels fine.
Again this is the frugal way of dealing with your current problems.
